I was born in Philadelphia and attended Drexel University’s business school with a concentration in Accounting. I was the co-founder/owner of two award-winning unique women’s retail/manufacturing boutiques in Philadelphia for 20 years. The boutiques were nationally recognized by The Philadelphia Inquirer, Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, New York Times and WWD. As an entrepreneur with a vision and organizational skills.
Senior living Specialists has connected me with many people in the Senior Living Community World. I enjoy helping guide families who are overwhelmed with the maze of senior care options. Connecting with families and working with The Communities has been very rewarding.

I joined our Senior Living Specialist Philly team this past September. I have my Masters in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania and just recently received my Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioner. I understand the value in educating and supporting the people I work with so they can make the most informed decision when navigating their long-term options.
I have three kids Tripp (11), Jameson (8), and Brooklyn (5). Over the last seven years I have helped my husband JP Hussey build our mortgage company, The Hussey Team- Financial Advisors located in Conshohocken. I work and live in the Collegeville area. Prior to that, I spent nine years at Vanguard Financial Services in the Brokerage and Corporate Finance Services divisions.

I recently became the newest member of Senior Specialists Philly. I attended The University of Delaware where I received my dual certification in Special Education and Elementary Education. I taught 4th grade learning support before having my 3 children. I then worked at our 3rd generation family business called The Rhoads Garden. There I helped with the baby buying, gift shop managing, and much more. It truly is a homegrown family company that I was very proud to be a part of. I am very excited to be on this new journey with the Senior Living Specialists Philly team. I feel my kindness, compassion, and empathy towards others will help to guide families through this unknown and challenging time. I have 3 children with my husband David. They are Baylor (14) Jude (12), & Lola (9). I was born in the Lansdale area and have lived here my entire life.

I bring over a decade of healthcare and leadership experience to my new role as a Senior Advisor at Senior Living Specialists. With a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Marywood University and a Bachelor’s degree from Loyola University Maryland, I have built my career on client-centered care, communication, and a commitment to improving quality of life for older adults and their families.
As a former Director of Rehabilitation, I have deep insight into the medical, emotional, and logistical needs of seniors and their loved ones. I now use that expertise to help guide families through the often-overwhelming process of finding the right senior living community.

Senior care has been the focus of my professional journey for more than 12 years, spanning skilled nursing, assisted living, and memory care settings. Throughout that time, I have supported operations at a regional level across 14 states, gaining insight into what truly defines quality care and meaningful advocacy for older adults and their families.
My involvement in the broader senior care community has been an important part of that work. I have contributed as a Walk Committee Chair for the Alzheimer’s Association and collaborated with hospice and palliative care organizations, reinforcing my commitment to supporting individuals facing complex health and aging challenges.

Before joining the Senior Living Specialists Philly team, I served as CEO of JFS Delaware and COO of The Network of Jewish Human Service Agencies, strengthening services for older adults nationwide.
I hold a Master of Social Service from Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research. I am passionate about listening deeply to each family’s unique needs to ensure their loved ones find comfort, safety, and a high quality of life.
